I chose a smooth 9 mm wooden surface for the painting and an added bonus is the feeling of solidity, the physicality of this substrate. The painting is ready to hang, with 2 metal hinges at the back, one enabling it to be hung from screws/nails and the other to ensure it hangs flush against a wall.
